Simply connect it to your faucet with the diverter valve adapter, turn on your tap water, and collect the pure water into a storage bottle (or any container). After usage just disconnect and store, it's compact size unit takes up very little space, (15" long, 7" high, 7" wide).
Three stage system includes a 5 micron sediment prefilter for reduction of rust and particulate, and provides protection for carbon prefilter, a carbon prefilter (activated carbon) prefiltration for chlorine, taste and odor removal & organic impurities, final stage a high-performance Reverse Osmosis Membrane 50 gpd, where dissolved minerals, heavy metals, and other contaminants are removed.
Reverse Osmosis membrane rejects the following contaminants: Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent), Chromium (Trivalent), Copper, Turbidity, Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium, and TDS.
3 year warranty on hardware. Maintenance: Sediment filter, activated carbon filter recommended change every six months for regular usage, or once a year in light usage.
Note: Reverse osmosis typically wastes 3 to 4 gallons of water for every gallon it produces.
